The Aloha Festivals Floral Parade

Awhile back in Hawaii, my family was able to take in a parade. The parade was the Aloha Festivals Floral Parade. It was a very pretty parade, as you can see by my pictures.

Luckily, we were able to get a spot in the shade. It was so sunny and hot, even with the breeze coming off the ocean.
Some of the more memorable parts of the parade were the military academy students. They wore navy blue blazers, white pants, a white hat can carried rifles. I remember them because I thought how hot it must be in that uniform.

I enjoyed the people in what I assume is authentic Hawaiian clothing. They wore vibrant colors, greens, reds, blues, and yellows.
Just like any local parade, the local school marching bands played. However, I couldn’t tell you what songs they played. Sorry, Mr. Sandstrum ( my music teacher ). Along with the schools, there were formal military bands, I believe one was the Navy. Along with the Navy, the Marines, and Air Force marched in the parade.

This was a very enjoyable parade. The horses, the flowers, the bands, and the colors provided a experience for all your sences.
